Malhae (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our translation service at malhae.app.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide (name, voice profile preferences).

Translation data. We process the text you submit for translation. If you are signed in, we store your translation history to provide the history feature.

Usage data. We collect basic analytics such as pages visited, feature usage, and error logs to improve the service.

How we use your data

• To maintain your translation history (if signed in)
• To communicate service updates and respond to support requests

Third-party services

We use Anthropic’s Claude API to power translations. Text you submit is sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic’s data usage policies apply to that processing. We do not sell your data to any third party.

Data retention

Translation history is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. Anonymous (logged-out) translations are not stored.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
